Director of Operations

Alisha is the Director of Operations for The Videre Estate. As a member of the Wimberley community for nearly 30 years, she has made a name for herself as the premier event specialist in central Texas and has grown her entrepreneurial passions into the domain of floristry, catering, coordination, and venue development. A proud mother of three children, she is excited to be a part of the growth in their hometown and to bring her distinct style of grace and elegance to our beautiful Hill Country.

Chef de Cuisine

Mike is the Chef de Cuisine of Videre Events & Catering. He had humble beginnings as a dishwasher and quickly worked his way up to being a prep cook. After five years of working as a line cook, he took his talents to Los Angeles and sharpened his skills in Asian, German, and Mexican cuisine. Accomplished in high-end catering and a tour of private chef spots in Hollywood, we are proud that he found a home here in Texas with us and is leading the direction in our elevated dining experience.

Catering Sales Manager

Laura is the Catering Sales Manager for Videre Events & Catering. She takes joy in learning peoples’ love stories and seeing them through to their big day. With over 10 years in the events industry, she knows the importance and strength of genuinely connecting with people. A creative spirit and adventurer at heart, Laura takes great satisfaction in seeing everyone happy and is always grateful for the opportunity to make this happen. Laura, her husband, and their children reside in the Texas Hill Country and enjoy staying active and doing anything and everything outdoors.

Ross McLeod

Ross McLeod

Catering Director

Ross is the Catering Director for Videre Events & Catering. Born and raised in central Texas, he is a lifelong member of the hospitality industry. After working years in restaurant management, he found a true passion for leading catering and events. Having worked for nearly a decade in the Hill Country catering scene, he has seen it all and has a talent for ensuring events are executed flawlessly.

Phil Collins

Phil Collins

Owner

Phil was born in Castroville, grew up in Houston, started dating his high school sweetheart in 1977, and still happily married to her after 38 years. Two of his sons, Mike and Will work with him daily in the family investment portfolio. His middle son Dr. Drew is a Neurologist working at the Seton Hospital and Clinic in Austin/Buda. Phil started working as an electrician at 15, getting a BSEE and MBA at night, while working full time. He did corporate work for Siemens for 10 years, and ABB for 6, and spent the last 2 years of his corporate career living with his family in Zurich, Switzerland. After growing and selling a high voltage service company in 2008, he started another in 2010, selling it in 2019 with over 400 employees. He currently owns 23 separate companies, and a wide variety of real estate investments. He is most proud of his marriage to Peggy, and having raised 3 boys into strong and worthy young men.
